New Community Workforce Development Center enrolls 97 undergrads

At New Community Workforce Development Center, 55 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The private not-for-profit school in Newark enrolled 97 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of New Jersey.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as Black or African American (77 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (23 percent).
