The New Jersey Devils returned to the ice on Thursday for training camp practice after a break on Wednesday. The team organized two main practice sessions at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Eastern Time, with an additional smaller group skating later in the day.

Forward Ondrej Palat discussed his developing partnership with Connor Brown during camp. “It’s good (Keefe) stuck with it. It’s always nice to practice with somebody and then play the games. With Brown it’s been pretty easy, great player, hardworking guy with a lot of skill. I like playing with him so far,” Palat said.

Cody Glass also spoke about balancing hockey and family life following the birth of his daughter: “Sleeping is a bit tough. My wife has been a rock star, the baby has been awesome. I can’t complain. She’s been a sweetheart. I’m very lucky.”

During Thursday’s first practice group, notable line combinations included one featuring Glass that had not previously appeared in earlier groupings this camp. Defenseman Calen Addison returned to the ice after missing time due to an injury sustained in the first preseason game.

Defenseman Ethan Edwards participated in drills with the third, smaller group as he continues recovery from blocking a shot earlier in the week.

Recent content available for fans includes interviews with Palat and Glass, as well as features such as “Devils Now: An Essential Duo.” Coverage also highlights recent performances against the New York Islanders, where the Devils secured a decisive 6-2 victory.
