Cole Brown, a left and right winger selected by the New Jersey Devils in the sixth round of the 2023 NHL Draft, is preparing for the next step in his hockey career. After spending four years in junior hockey, most recently with the Brantford Bulldogs of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), Brown will move on to play NCAA hockey at the University of Notre Dame.

During the 2024-25 season with Brantford, Brown played 67 games, scoring 33 goals and adding 37 assists for a total of 70 points. He was one of 12 players from his OHL team to participate in an NHL Development Camp over the summer.

Looking ahead to his college career, Brown said, “I think for me and my development, that extra strength, the extra practices, less games I think I’ll get a better chance at really focusing on my craft and focusing on what I want to do. That along with the school, as well, it’s a perfect spot for me.”

Brown discussed his progress and future plans in an interview with NJD.tv.

The New Jersey Devils continue to promote their Black and Red Full Season Ticket Memberships, which offer members benefits such as exclusive access and flexible seating options.
