The New Jersey Devils will begin their 43rd season in the National Hockey League on October 9, facing Carolina at 7:00 p.m. The team will start with a three-game road trip, also visiting Tampa Bay and Columbus. Their home opener is scheduled for October 16 against Florida at the Prudential Center.

The Devils’ home schedule features 19 weekend games, including two on Fridays, ten on Saturdays, and seven on Sundays. Seven of these are matinee games before 5:00 p.m. Notably, they will play St. Louis on Thanksgiving Eve for the second consecutive year. The NHL Holiday Break sees them playing the NY Islanders on December 23 and hosting Washington on December 27.

A significant seven-game home stand is set from March 3 to March 16 against various teams including Florida and Boston. A four-game home stretch from November 29 to December 5 includes matches against Philadelphia and Vegas. The regular-season finale is slated for April 14 in Boston, with the last home game on April 12 against Ottawa.

Most home games start at 7:00 p.m., except for specific matches such as those against Edmonton and Colorado which have earlier start times.

The Devils have scheduled fifteen sets of back-to-back games this season. They also have two five-game road trips and three four-game trips throughout the season.

Under the NHL’s scheduling matrix, the Devils will play a series of games against Metropolitan Division teams, Atlantic Division teams, and Western Conference clubs.

The league’s schedule will pause from February 6 to February 22 due to the Winter Olympic Games in Italy.

MSG Networks remains the television broadcaster for Devils games with additional coverage available through The Gotham Sports App. Broadcast details from national partners like ESPN/ABC and TNT Sports will be announced later.

Tickets for individual games will be available soon via the team’s website where fans can subscribe to NJD Weekly or become Black and Red members for priority access.
